FieldForge: The First Product Out of the Forge
Why FieldForge is the anchor product — what it does, who it is for, and what we are building first.
FieldForge is the first product in the Forge family, and that is deliberate. Scheduling and workforce management is where the pain is sharpest, the integrations are the hardest, and the lessons we learn will shape everything that follows.
The early scope is tight on purpose:
- A shift and job calendar that a dispatcher can run without a manual.
- A mobile app that a tech can open at a job site on a bad cell connection.
- Core consumption meters — SMS, GPS, photos — wired in from day one.
We are not trying to out-feature the incumbents. We are trying to match them on the 80% that matters, and beat them on pricing, mobile, and the willingness to say no to the 20% that adds bulk for one customer and weight for everyone else.
